The Contextual Segments API allows MRM clients and vendors to modify contextual targeting segments on a video asset. This API is stand-alone; clients can grant access to vendors without having to grant access to other APIs.

With this API, users can:

• Add, update, and delete contextual segments on a video asset
• Store metadata from multiple vendors on one video asset
• Use a FreeWheel video ID or an external video ID to modify a video asset
