Strategy

Upgrade Notice

The Targeting APIs, including strategy have been upgraded as part of the Buzz 2.0 API. We strongly recommend you use the new targeting-expressions endpoint. Read more about targeting using the new API.

A Strategy determines the targeting is available to a given Targeting Template and within a specific Line Items type. Strategies are created by the Buzz system administrator. A Strategy is a logically-coherent set of targeting options that are available in the ad server or bidder. For example, if the ad server/bidder can execute certain types of geographic targeting in mobile, but other types in display, it may make sense to have different Strategies for mobile vs display.
